Cloud computing is all about storing all files or data on a web page. Best example of this is the Google you can save some of your files in you g-mail account it is also the same with the yahoo mail.
We all know that every information is vital it is the same with the data and files that you have. For me it is very dangerous to store file or data in a web page because in our times there is so many hackers that can easily access to you account. The best example of this is the facebook many of us have facebook account and there is an instance that some people hack there account by unknown person. It is like with web page account it can easily hack specially if your account is not fully secure with the password. That’s is why for me it is not comfortable to store data in a particular web page not only because it can easily hack but it can also be infected with the virus. We are not only the one who controls the net specifically with our web page it can also control by other people because we have a root server that we are connected.
It is hard to get the trust of other people unless you convince them properly. For me cloud computing must have advertising practises that will convince people to store their data in a web browser such as having maximum security in accessing in their account and vulnerability in a specific virus that it will not block or destroy their account. The advertisement should convince the people in the way that the people will avail this kind of application without any hesitation that they will get the trust of the people.

My Expectations in MIS332

Information is very important in our field as future military leaders it gives us idea on how we execute our action properly specially in dealing with our enemies. Studying about information is not an easy subject because information is a very broad knowledge and I am willing learning about it specially in gathering information against our enemies. I have a lot of expectation in this subject. Now a day the enemies of our states are also using computer technologies against our government specially those lefties group of NPA and some terrorist groups. I am expecting to learn how to counter attack those plan of our enemies using information system because if ever I will join the army my unit that I want to join is in MI (Military Intelligence). For me it is exciting subject because we can learn a lot in information technology. Another thing that I want to learn is to how to counter attack those hacker because now our generation has so many technologies specially those gadgets such as high tech phone, MP3’s, laptop, tablet and note pad and they are too expensive to buy. They are expensive but in can destroy in a second by professional hackers. I am one of the million using these technologies and as a user; i want to protect my gadgets to those stupid hackers. Not only to counter attack have those hacker but I wanted also to learn how to hack a computer system but not to used in a negative way but in positive such as hacking the computer system that are using by terrorist these are some topics are very exciting to learn about.

Aside from the topic about hacking a computer system another about viruses, I want to learn how to make antivirus because some hackers uses viruses to destroy our computer. Destroying our computer is a worst thing that can happen in you gadgets especially if you gadgets are full of documents that very important in your everyday life especially for those persons going to offices because some of their documents are now place in a flash drive sometimes in their laptops documents that can save their career. Not only in offices but also in schools and universities because now day the methodology of teachers and professors are computer based. They are using PowerPoint presentation in giving a lesson and discussion and now not only the professor are using gadgets but also students. Students now are not using books anymore but they are preferred to using E-book known as electronic books such as tablets. That’s why it is important to protect our gadget in viruses that they can transmit to destroy our gadgets specially to destroy our important documents.

Before our instructor, Miss Lumsit is only civilian instructor but now he is a member of Armed Forces of the Philippines as member of a Corps of Professors and since he is already a member of AFP I’m expecting from her that she will teach us more on information technologies in dealing with our career as a future military leaders. I’m expecting that she will teach us direct to the point to what we will learn about Management information technologies.

I suggest that our instructor focuses more on discussion, giving more information about what are the things that we should learn because it is nonsense that we know how to use it on hands on but we are lack of information on what we are doing. Another things is that she can give us application activities so that we can practice in properly.

How Vital Information Is

Typhoon Pablo

The Citizens’ Disaster Response Center (CDRC), a non-government organization based in the Philippines, cited the records of the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED), which showed that 2,360 people were killed due to natural disasters in 2012. Coming in second was China with 771 deaths.

CDRC is a partner of CRED, a World Health Organization collaborating center based in Brussels, Belgium, which maintains the Emergency Events Database (EM-DAT: The International Disaster Database).

CRED also reported that in terms of the number of people affected by natural disasters, the Philippines came in second to China. There were 43 million people affected in China; and 12 million in the Philippines.

Having information can save the life of many people. In this scenario the information about the typhoon Pablo, that hits China give us information to prepare for us in the typhoon coming through our country. As we seen in the article many people died in china because of typhoon Pablo but because of the information that we get we save millions life here in our country compare to china because of the preparation we have. That is how information is vital it is save the life of a people.

It is proven that information is vital that is why if we are giving information make sure that it is accurate to what is the truth because information is the sources of idea that we can formulate to prepare to what can happen to us because of the news we got. Information can save life but it also kills people that why we also choose people that we are giving information because maybe that person is dangerous that he can use the information he has to do stupid things that can kill people.
